Most people don't realize that being fit is a key component of self‑defense. The simple fact is, if you don’t have sufficient strength or stamina, you can't defend yourself, no matter how many techniques you know. Therefore, our classes begin with warm‑ups, followed by an intensive physical exercise regimen designed to get you in shape and maximize your fitness level.
Every class ends with cool‑down flexibility exercises that are designed to stretch your muscles, and increase your range of motion to prevent injury. Believe it or not, in no time at all you will find that you’re in the best shape of your life and possess a variety of practical self‑defense skills!
All classes are well‑supervised, and conducted with safety as a top priority. Students are encouraged to learn and progress at their own pace. In addition, our training environment promotes positive relationships, self‑confidence and mutual respect. Furthermore, No student is ever asked or expected to do something that they don’t feel comfortable doing.
